The liabilities and mind consuming worries we should get rid of, or be willing to remain mediocre for the rest of our lives
The Downside of Being Right
However satisfying and pleasant it is to be right, there are times when being right is not a happy position to be. The courts often sympathise
with victims but fail to reward or compensate them although they were right. Rapes, accidents, transactions, falling outs and even divorces
leave aggrieved parties both frustrated and bearing the greater loss. Especially unbearable when it is emotional and unjust.
It is the feelings that remain that is most distressing. That sense of being violated. Unless one is particularly mercenary, even heavy
compensation seldom clears those feelings.
Life is wonderful. Only when we see those who suffer from major deficiencies they are unable to satisfy or change that we realize how
fortunate we are that our feelings of loss and frustration are in our hands to overcome though those feelings do take a toll, causing us great
distress and even prematurely aging us.
The obvious course is to let it go. To put it behind us and get on with enjoying our lives. To enlarge on our blessings and blossom.
Ideologies
Faiths and beliefs we adopt or are tied to, which allow us to shift responsibility for our actions to legendary entities, to fate and to karma.
Our world cannot develop without truth and justice. Without the individual accountability to discourage habits which allow violation and
abuse of others and things in the Universe.
The lack of responsibility is an indication of an unclear conscience, of a lack of respect for fellow beings, of false pride and a total lack of care or
consideration for others sharing our home land.
Millstones and Crutches
Millstones are destroying elements like attachments, attractions, addictions and obligation we acquire and allow to develop , which
weigh us down and prevent us from rising to achieve the potential we are born with.
Crutches are the ideologies, the things we lean on and depend on which encourage us to violate others who live on this planet with us.
Pretentious Imaging
To compare oneself with another is to see advantages over the other and deficiencies in oneself. No two people are exactly alike and it is a futile
activity to make comparisons. It is a lack of self-esteem that prompts comparison. The lack of self-esteem and self-confidence that encourages
pretentious self imaging to impress others.
We are all born with the same mental and physical equipment, except that from economic advantages some tend to gain a handicap over the other.
Basically, given the same environments and opportunities, no one need do better than another.
