hold it back. Why would you want to hold it back or stop it? Only if at a moment in time something happened that you want to remove or revel in. We interact with Time in the passage of moments as they go past us. Imagine a man running towards you. You can only interact with him as he arrives alongside you and if you are slow to act, he will have gone past you and you would have lost the opportunity to interact. Now think of him as a moment in 'Time' and visualize those moments in Time as a string moving one behind the other. Our entire lives are governed by how we act or react in those moments in Time. Our actual actions or reactions at those moments get recorded in a personal train of time progression which keeps pace with our lives, from our birth until our eventual death. Only our actual acts make an impact, not our thoughts. Our thoughts remain stored in our memory and available to us at any time. Our actions which include our involuntary physical reactions including what may happen in our sleep or unconsciously, sometimes triggered by outside elements extending to the unseen influence of Cosmic forces through our environment, is what gets recorded into our "train of natural progression" and directs our lives and destiny, even death. That ‘moving train of natural progression’ is responsible for processing all the related factors to return good or bad results to us at later dates in accordance with what we did or did not do right before. It may be called Karma but not fate or the actions of a nebulous entity and, only based on the current life, not a series of previous lives. But please note: 1. It cannot be Fate because Fate connotes a destiny preordained at the time of our birth, and, 2. It is absurd to fear punishment or retaliation from a nebulous entity that has proved an inability to give relief to the hungry and the distressed including innocent little babies. |
Next to Time, Mother Nature’s powerful influence on us, so devastatingly exercised through our environment, influences our lives through our involuntary responses to 'Natural Progression” . We cannot change nor remove what has already happened, but through subsequent “present moments’ we can try to influence the course of our life train by how we act or react. Whatever we do, whether we act, react or think, we are doing it in "present moments" though only the acts get recorded. Sometimes, environmental influences will directly affect the life train of an individual, even to end it. What is man’s real status on Earth? Today… a) He is discouraged from developing and applying the whole of his brain’s power because he is also discouraged from questioning beliefs inculcated in him in childhood. So, the average man has developed less than 5% of his brain’s capacity and uses less than 5% of its capability. b) Although his beliefs have been propagated for twenty centuries, those who promote them and man himself demonstrates every day that neither is yet convinced and needs to teach and promote those ideologies every day and twice on Sunday. c) Not one faith, belief or ideology can prove a following where every one of the adherents is always well, always happy, never needing medical or economic help, does not need to compete with their fellow men for survival. d) Not one faith, belief or ideology can prove that promises of better and happier tomorrows and heavenly hereafters have been delivered. e) Not one faith, belief or ideology can dispute the fact that except for Mother Nature, there is no entity that can truthfully claim to be almighty, all-seeing and essentially omnipotent. f) All the prayers, all the faith and belief from the billions of adherents have failed to correct the famine and strife in Africa where little babies are forced to suffer and, g) All the houses of worship, all the variety of denominations and all the funds that faith filled congregations have contributed over the past twenty centuries have comparatively little in actual relief for the needy. Not all of it but some of it has gone for medical research and relief. h) Man has however proved that he has a heart and his voice sincerely raised together with others, can and has made a difference in the lives of ailing individuals.
Does it mean that we cannot control our lives? Not so. It is how we mature and how we school ourselves to withstand the effect of changes in our environment and how well and thoughtfully we act or react to our ‘present moments’ , that allows us the ability to guide the course of our lives and ensure that we achieve the destinies we ourselves determine. Take life and destiny into one’s own hands a) Recognize his own mental strengths and physical advantages that give him his inherent ability to direct the course of his life and determine his own destiny free of parasitic ideologies,
work and play to become ambidextrous and develop both lobes of his brain. c) He can learn to think, to question, analyze everything he is exposed to and develop all his strengths to become fully capable and invincible, d) With his strengths he can make himself totally calm and free to care selflessly like his mother, unafraid to think outside his past constraints and learn to be his true self. e) Rise above his dependence on “crutches” like beliefs, other dependence, hates, prejudices and the lack of self-esteem that encourages pretentious self-imaging to impress the equally false, f) Get rid of his “millstone” like attractions, attachments, addictions and obligations that hold him down and in bondage, preventing him from rising out of his miserable life, g) Realize the futility of competitively acquiring and accumulating power, position, prestige and possessions which place him at the mercy of others he needs to maintain that ownership. h) Assess his real needs and avoid comparison with others that force him to add or undertake responsibilities and acquisitions that add to the pressures he must contend with, i) Identify his best form of self-expression and find or develop interests and occupations that relate to it, j) Select at least two special interests, one which he must develop I strength to bring him an income through enjoyable and tireless effort. A second interest which he can indulge in for sheer satisfaction regardless of profit or other reward. k) Understand the ecology of his environment and avoid contributing to its deterioration or harm which may trigger compensatory action in his environment to hurt man. l) Never to react to anything in his daily life without thinking and to plan how he will act in the context of his efforts to further his fortunes when he has to under Time constraints. To this end, he must understand the forces he is subject to and what strategies he can employ to ensure performance in relation to his determination More later |
