Casual Thoughts

How often do we have the urge to relax and indulge in topics more interesting and satisfying than the

escalating conflicts,

political

excesses,

skyrocketing consumer living costs and terrorism? How many of

us refuse to be conditioned by the daily

fare of after-the-

event scandal

reporting and impositions on our

thoughts and lives.

How much more satisfying would it be to share exciting thoughts, interests and ideas that stimulate and

encourage a meeting

of caring

hearts and positive minds in promoting change? Opening inner selves to

wider horizons of perceptive and delightful

expectations

through

the new, the strange and even the

seemingly impossible.

A companionable means of meeting and enjoying each other’s thoughts, free of politics, religion,

unending disputes, personal

axes to

grind

and the daily strife we are forced to accept. A selfless

opportunity to enlarge on our views, our hopes and dreams

in a world

without

boundaries .

To selflessly care for the weaker and the needy. To solve problems for the troubled and troubleshoot their

deficiencies. To be a

friend-in-

need

to those who must be helped to rise above their limitations.

The “impossible” is merely a point in effort where we give up trying. Happiness comes from the

satisfaction of having the

freedom and

ability

to be who we are, follow our inclinations as we will and

accomplish our selfless purpose on behalf of the

less able.

This is an invitation to think about the difficulties that affect the old, the poor, the frail, the unable and

the disabled. To

contribute a

fresh

outlook, a new idea, another strategy or plan which set up in advance

will make us fully effective in dealing

with the present as it

arrives and

before it goes into the

unchangeable past.
